This post is going to be really short. I am off to Vancouver tomorrow and it is going to be a long day, so I want to get to sleep. But just wanted to post something.
Last night I went to see Bare Naked Ladies, a free concert in Whistler Village. Unfortunately, it ended REALLY early (like before 7) so I missed the whole thing! I was very sad, but then I saw the medal ceremony was letting people in "stand by" without tickets. So I got to see Our Lady Peace. Not Bare Naked Ladies, but still a great set. We missed some of the show getting in/going through security, but we didn't have to pay so it was worth it. Today, they were playing in Vancouver.
In Vancouver, I was hoping I would get to see Stephen Colbert, but he seems to be one of the most popular attractions in Vancouver. So, I will stick to the Olympic Cauldron, and normal touristy things. I am really excited to meet up with Tricia. I feel so far from home most days.
I am leaving you with an illegal photo. I don't feel bad, because I didn't take it. It was taken by another volunteer and sent to me. But here is Charlotte Kalla Cross Country Gold Medalist for Sweden wearing her gold medal in the village for all to see. The press from Sweden were so proud of her.
Hope to have better stories to tell you Saturday! (I think tomorrow I will be too tired)
